1. Booking payment
INR 15,000 per person for India and Bhutan guests, or USD 150 per person for international guests, is payable as the initial reservation and is credited towards the total package price. Complete 50% of the total booking value within 15 calendar days, deducting the initial reservation payment already received. The remaining 50% is due at least 30 calendar days before the confirmed retreat start date.
2. How to cancel
Send a clear cancellation request from your registered email address to reset@thehimalayanreset.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email. We will acknowledge it in writing.
3. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled retreat start date are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid.
4. Cancellations made within 30 days
Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable. However, the amount paid may be transferred towards one future retreat organised by The Himalayan Reset™, subject to availability.
One complimentary retreat transfer is permitted per booking. Any difference in package price for the future retreat must be paid by the guest.
Transfers apply to another retreat date, not automatically to another person.
5. Late bookings
A reservation schedule that would place the 15-day booking-deposit deadline after the final-balance deadline cannot be accepted on the standard timetable. The correct compatible payment requirement will be displayed or confirmed before payment.
6. No-show, late arrival and early departure
No refund or future-retreat credit is provided for failure to attend, cancellation on the retreat start date, late arrival, voluntary early departure, removal for misconduct or unused accommodation, meals, transport, activities or wellness sessions.
7. Guest substitution
A retreat transfer applies to another retreat date and does not automatically transfer the booking to another person. Any guest substitution requires separate written approval.
8. Cancellation by us
If we cancel a retreat for reasons within our reasonable control, you may choose an alternative retreat offered by us or a refund of the retreat amounts paid to us. We are not responsible for independently booked flights, visas, insurance or other third-party costs, so travel insurance is strongly recommended.
9. Events beyond reasonable control
Where weather, natural events, government action, border restrictions, public-health events, civil disruption or another event beyond reasonable control prevents or materially affects the retreat, we will communicate the available alternative date, credit or recoverable refund options. Any outcome will consider applicable law and third-party costs already irreversibly committed.
10. Travel insurance
Guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering illness, medical emergencies, cancellation, flight disruption, evacuation and other circumstances that may prevent or interrupt travel.
11. Consumer rights
This policy does not limit any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law. Where mandatory law provides a different outcome, that law will apply.
