Website and bookings

Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and any retreat booking made with Good Times Vacation Private Limited under The Himalayan Reset brand.

Effective date: 6 August 2026

1. Acceptance

By using this website, submitting an enquiry or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Cookie Notice and Retreat Disclaimer. If a signed proposal or booking confirmation contains specific terms, those specific written terms prevail to the extent of any conflict.

2. Enquiries are not bookings

Submitting a website form, chatbot enquiry or message does not reserve a place. A booking is confirmed only after we confirm availability in writing, you accept the stated inclusions and terms, and we receive the required payment.

3. Pricing and inclusions

Website prices are starting prices and may vary by retreat, room category, season, group size, taxes, exchange rates and selected services. Your written proposal or booking confirmation will state the final price and inclusions. Unless expressly included, international or domestic travel, visas, insurance, personal expenses and optional services are the guest’s responsibility.

4. Payment schedule

A payment equal to 25% of the confirmed package price is required at booking. The remaining 75% must be paid no later than 30 calendar days before the retreat start date. For bookings made within 30 days of the retreat, the full price is payable at booking. We may release an unpaid reservation after giving reasonable notice.

Payments should be made only through instructions or secure links sent from our official email address. Applicable taxes and payment-processing charges will be disclosed where relevant.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation and refund rights are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Travel documents and insurance

You are responsible for passports, visas, permits, medical advice, vaccinations, flight or train bookings and compliance with entry requirements. Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, baggage and activity risks is strongly recommended.

7. Health, suitability and conduct

You must provide material health, dietary, mobility or safety information requested for programme planning. Participation remains voluntary, and you must follow reasonable safety and conduct instructions. We may restrict an activity or end a guest’s participation where reasonably necessary for safety, serious misconduct or disruption; any financial consequences will be considered under applicable law and the circumstances.

8. Programme and supplier changes

Programmes, facilitators, activities, timings, accommodation and routes may change because of weather, safety, local conditions, supplier availability or circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will use reasonable efforts to provide an experience of comparable overall character and will communicate material changes where practicable.

9. Third-party services

Hotels, airlines, transport operators, payment processors, wellness professionals and other independent providers may apply their own terms. We are responsible for our own services and coordination obligations, while independent providers remain responsible for the services they directly provide, subject to applicable law.

10. Website content and intellectual property

Website material is provided for general information and may be updated. Images may be illustrative. The Himalayan Reset name, design, programme framework, written content and brand assets may not be copied or commercially used without written permission.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, personal decisions made without appropriate professional advice, or losses caused solely by a guest’s breach, undisclosed condition, third-party act or event beyond reasonable control.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution by contacting us. Subject to applicable consumer rights and mandatory jurisdiction rules, courts in Kolkata, West Bengal will have jurisdiction.
